1. Visa Requirements for Indonesia (Bali)
Indonesia has various visa policies depending on your nationality and purpose of visit. For conference attendees, the following are generally applicable:

Visa-Free Entry: Citizens of certain countries (e.g., ASEAN nations like Singapore, Malaysia, etc.) may enter Indonesia visa-free for a limited stay (usually up to 30 days) for tourism or business purposes. Please check the latest regulations for your specific nationality.

Visa on Arrival (VoA): Many countries are eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VoA) which can be obtained upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali. The cost is typically IDR 500,000 (approx. USD 35) and allows for a stay of up to 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days. You will need:

2. Transportation from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Ayana Resort
Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is approximately 10-12 km from Ayana Resort located in the Jimbaran area. The journey usually takes around 20-40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Here are the recommended transportation options:

Pre-booked Private Transfer (Recommended): This is the most comfortable and efficient option. Ayana offers airport transfer services for guests staying at the resort.

Airport Taxi: Official airport taxi counters are available outside the arrival terminal. Fares are usually fixed based on your destination. The approximate cost from DPS to Ayana Resort is IDR 180,000 - IDR 250,000. Drivers typically only accept cash.

Ride-Hailing Apps (Grab/Gojek): Grab is widely used in Bali and is generally cheaper than official airport taxis. There's a dedicated Grab Lounge at the airport's pick-up zone where staff can assist you with booking. Fares to Ayana typically range from IDR 250,000 - IDR 350,000. Note that wait times can be long during peak hours.
