Dinesh Vijan is a distinguished Indian film producer and the founder of Maddock Films, a leading content studio known for its distinctive, content-driven storytelling across theatrical and digital platforms. A former banker, Dinesh made a bold career pivot in 2004, leaving behind a successful corporate role to pursue his passion for filmmaking despite having no prior background or connections in the entertainment industry. Maddock Films’ genre-defining slate includes the critically and commercially successful Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024), and the record-breaking Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank (2024). The latter became a watershed moment in Indian box office history grossing ₹900 crore globally and becoming the first Hindi film to cross the ₹600 crore mark, setting a new benchmark for commercial success and audience engagement.
