Paul has worked in film and television for 35 years, starting at Video Arts, the first video training company, and Video Collection, the first sell-through video label. He then worked at TEN the Movie Channel, the UK’s first pay TV service, followed by roles at CIC (Paramount and Universal), Pathe, and Miramax International. Paul later joined the British Film Institute (BFI), where he led the UK’s transition from celluloid to digital cinema, making the UK a global leader in this transformation. In 2004, Paul co-founded Prescience, financing over 50 film and TV titles, including The King’s Speech (2012) and Chef (2014). Prescience raised over £500 million through government tax incentives for independent projects.

 

Paul has been involved in global media partnerships and is the Founder and Director of Flying Tiger Entertainment, an international company that brokers studio projects and media technology. He is also a Founder of The Studio Group, which develops high-end studios worldwide, and a Director of two funds investing in social conscious media and music-based content. Additionally, Paul is an Executive Producer on various film and streaming projects and works closely with government film commissioning bodies, streaming platforms, and major studios.
